NYC Program Overview

The NYC Studio is an extension of The Fashion School at Kent State University and exists as an outreach site to link academic and workplace environments for the professional advancement of individuals who impact the fashion industry.

This dynamic program offers a unique experience for Kent State students to live and study during the fall or spring semesters, in the world's largest fashion center, while earning 12-18 semester hours of credit. The program is designed to immerse students in NYC's vast fashion, arts, and cultural resources. Coursework with industry professionals, internship opportunities, and organized tours to fashion-related sites, provides students with a lifelong network of career contacts for entry in the world of fashion.

The NYC Studio also offers summer programming for non-KSU students, academics, and professionals in the field of fashion.
