
The Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman School of Fashion Design and Merchandising acts as
one with the Museum at the Kent State University. Here, a salute to the student mannequins
sketching Bonnie Cashin's 1950s-1960s wool or leather garments. The Cashins, superbly
produced by Philip Sills were a forerunner of the trend which highlighted imaginative
American sportswear. Stipelman included three Cashins in one colorful action painting.
